About the site

This Anti-Oppression web site is a resource for anyone interested in learning more about oppression and how to move toward equity and creating positive space – it is also recommended as a pre-requisite for OPIRG volunteers and as a supplement (not a replacement) for our facilitated Anti-Oppression workshops held each term.

The website deals with seven facets of oppression, where each type of oppression covers the following topics:

  1. Definition
  2. Examples
  3. How to Interrupt
  4. Ally
  5. Privilege

This website also provides various links to external websites which provide information and other great resources.
